An 83 amino acid analog of IGF-1 used in in vitro research.
IGF1-LR3 is a modified form of insulin-like growth factor 1. It carries an arginine in place of glutamic acid at position 3 and a 13 amino acid extension at the N terminus, which gives an 83 amino acid chain of about 9.1 kDa. In cell culture literature these changes are described as lowering binding to IGF binding proteins, which is why the analog is common in serum free media studies. It is supplied as a white lyophilized powder.
Lone Star Peptide ships same-day to research institutions across all of Texas. Same-state logistics mean shorter cold-chain transit and faster delivery than any out-of-state supplier, with COA documentation that meets institutional procurement standards statewide.
FOR RESEARCH USE ONLY. IGF1-LR3 is supplied exclusively for in vitro and laboratory research. Not for human or animal use, and not approved by the FDA for any use in people. Purchasers are responsible for compliance with all applicable regulations.
